1. blndsundoll4mj (Trisha Paytas)

In the past, Trisha Paytas has been known for her controversial videos in which she exclaims that dogs don't have brains, having mental breakdowns on her kitchen floor, and identifying herself as a chicken nugget. These days, she's providing her 3 million subscribers shopping hauls, mukbangs, and vlogs of her and her current boyfriend, Jason Nash. No matter what the scenario is, Trish never fails to amuse her viewers and is a great person to have on your subscriber list!

2. grav3yardgirl (Bunny Meyer)

First starting off her YouTube career with paranormal videos, Bunny has certainly created an outstanding career online, having 8 million subscribers, 2.6 Instagram followers, and not to mention her own eyeshadow palette with Tarte Cosmetics and hair tools with Bellami Hair. As of late, Bunny makes lots of fun videos including unboxings, 90s themed hauls, and testing out silly products. Her videos are funny and amusing to watch and you should definitely check her out if you haven't already.

3. Pinkstylist (Charlie Short)

Charlie Short is an amazing special effects artist who creates tutorials transforming himself into multiple different characters, typically scary ones. He also makes funny videos of him going on Omegle with his horror makeup on and makes hauls of packages he receives such as Loot Crate and fan mail. He is super talented and also funny and quirky. I would be lying if I said I hadn't binge-watched all his videos before. Whether you are interested in learning more about special effects or just enjoy watching the transformation, do give his channel a look.

4. Emma Tamsin

Emma Tamsin Hill is a plus size creator, blogger, and fashion stylist. Her YouTube channel is just a few months, but she already has about 30,000 subscribers. On her channel, Emma does plus size fashion hauls, styles wigs, shares her playlists, and talks about female issues such as relationships, body image, and female empowerment. Her confidence is what makes her an awesome person to follow. She is comfortable in her own skin, regardless of society's idea of beauty, and wishes for everyone to feel the same. She is truly inspirational and you should check out her YouTube and Instagram accounts!

5. Special Books by Special Kids (Chris Ulmer)

This channel is truly heart-warming and restores faith in humanity. Former special needs teacher, Chris Ulmer, travels across the world in order to interview men, women, boys, and girls with all different types of disabilities. His videos include people from all walks of life, whether that be young children with life-threatening illnesses or elderly people with PTSD because of horrific events such as the Holocaust. Some videos are quite sad on account of the fate of some of the interviewees, but most share messages of hope and the idea that we should accept everyone the way that they are. Chris really is an amazing person and if you want to learn more about any disability and the way people cope with them, go watch some of his videos.

6. shane (Shane Dawson)

Making videos since 2008 and having a whopping 12 million subscribers on his main channel and 8.2 subscribers on his second channel, fans of Shane Dawson have basically grown up with him throughout the years. Shane makes a variety of different videos including conspiracy theories, top 5s, paranormal videos, and many more. He is always with his boyfriend, Ryland Adams, and friends Garrett Watts, Drew Monson, and even does videos with Trisha Paytas and James Charles. His talents are portrayed through his amazing editing skills and his short films about his life growing up with his mom. There's so much more I could say about Shane and how amazing he really is but you should go check out his channel and see for yourself.

7. Sara K

Sara K first started out on YouTube with makeup tutorials. Although she still does them from time to time, her most popular videos are the ones where she just sits down and talks. As a viewer, Sara takes you into her life and shares her experiences of losing both of her parents and the many health problems she faces. She is a very intelligent young woman and speaks about topics regarding friendships, the power of our own minds, and how to be happy regardless of what you are going through. She also makes videos about her plants and from time to time does hauls of clothes that were sent to her by companies. Her channel has 929K subscribers and it's not hard to see why. Go check her out.

8. Rob Dyke

Most known for his series "Seriously Strange," Rob Dyke is a horror-loving man who has a following of 2.7 million people that share the same creepy interests as him. He makes videos about serial killers, haunted places, and countdowns such as "10 Unexplained Disappearances,"5 Brutally Disturbing Ancient Sports," and "10 Stage Performances That Ended in Death." His mix of comedy and horror makes for compelling videos that really draw you in and want to explore his channel deeper. He also includes other creators in his videos such as Cayleigh Elise, who shares the same dark interests as him. If you aren't into spooky things, he has 2 other channels you can check out: a vlogging channel and gaming channel. He certainly is an interesting character and you should explore his Internet persona on either of his three channels or social media accounts.

9. Jeffree Star

There's no doubt that Jeffree Star has been an Internet sensation since the days of Myspace. First starting off with music, Jeffree then left the scene in order to create his very own makeup line, Jeffree Star Cosmetics. He has certainly made a life for himself, boyfriend Nathan, and 5 Pomeranians, Diva, Delicious, Diamond, Daddy, and Drama. His channel consists of makeup tutorials, reviews, tours of his beautiful pink cars, and collabs with other YouTubers such as Manny Mua, Laura Lee, Shane Dawson, and more. Although having a controversial past and having drama with multiple other celebrities such as Kylie Jenner and Kat Von D, Jeffree Star is a multi-millionaire and his makeup is amazing. Whether you like him or not, he's not going anywhere, so you might as well get a couple laughs and a makeup lesson out of his videos!

10. LifeAccordingToJimmy (Jimmy Tatro)

You might recognize him as Rooster from 22 Jump Street, or even from the music video of Lil Dicky's new song "Freaky Friday," but Jimmy Tatro began his career on both Vine (RIP) and YouTube. Alongside his friends, Jimmy Tatro creates funny comedy videos including series such as "Drunk Questions" and "Balcony Conversations," along with just general short sketches that will have you cracking up laughing. Remember Lilly Truscott from Hannah Montana? He even dated her, Emily Osment, for a while. If you're looking for a laugh do give his channel a look. You most definitely will not regret it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
