With back to school in full swing, Target trips are becoming more common. From the few I have already taken I have noticed the immense struggle to stay on track and only buy a few items per trip. Listed below I have the 10 most common thoughts people have while shopping at target.
1. "Ok, I need one thing. In and out, that's all."
Before heading into the store only planning to buy one thing, sometimes a little pep-talk is completely necessary.
2. "Before I start I should probably check out the dollar section, right?"
"They have their new seasonal items out and its all so cheap here, one look around shouldn't hurt."
And after leaving the dollar section, you're suddenly ready to redecorate your entire room for the new holiday season... Twice.
3. "Ok, back on track. One item that's all I need."
"Maybe they place this item in the back of the store so that I have to look through every other section first. Thats probably the case."
4. "I am running low on makeup.. maybe I'll swing over there really fast."
"After all, it will save me a trip in the long run. And all the new lipstick colors are out for summer."
5. "Is there a birthday I should be shopping for?"
"I'm sure this gift will come in handy at some point, I should probably get it incase."
6. "I should probably start heading to checkout before I buy anything else."
7. "Oh! There is that one thing I said I needed a few weeks ago."
Any excuse to shop around target is a good excuse.
8. "They have the new mix-match bathing suits out, I should definitely stop there before checkout"
"Of course I need another pair of black bikini bottoms to go with my 7 other pairs."
9. "I've finally finished shopping, to the checkout we go."
"Okay, but why are there only 4 lanes open? Should I buy those six packs of gum?"
10. "Time to go home!"
Until you realize you forgot the one item you needed.
