10 Things Your BFFL Needs To Hear, Even If They Are All Implied

1. How amazing they are

2. Thousand Thank Yous

This is not about me, this one is for Julie. Because we all need a friend like Julie.

3. Without you, life would suck

Julie is from the East Coast so that automatically makes her 200 times better. But above all, Julie is my battle buddy. I knew we were meant to be, because one day we were watching Happy Death Day, and there was this super sad part, and I started to cry. I am really good at crying quietly, so I looked around to see who else was crying and no one was. Then I look over to Julie and there she was wiping her tears away, as soon as I saw that, I grabbed her hand and started laughing.

4. Sometimes, I really don't know how you deal with me

I am literally from another planet. I am so extra, so soo sooo extra that I even like drinking water out of a straw! I am always super emotional, and voicing my opinion, and commenting on life, and trying my hardest, how do you keep up with me? Sometimes I can't even keep up with myself, so how do you?

5. I tag you on all my social media because I'm always thinking about you

I am always tagging you on memes, and inappropriate things, because you're the only friend that understands my humor! For the longest time I just thought I was a perv!

6. You a boss ass baddie

See, the thing about having a friend like Julie, is that we don't have to speak to understand each other. And the only other person I can do that with lives in NYC. Once upon a time, Julie was throwing a surprise party, in which an awkward little boy decided to be weird; suddenly the boy spoke and Julie and I locked eyes, and could not stop laughing; when you know you know. In that moment, no words spoken, we both knew what had happened, and we were basically connected.

7. Mi casa, tu Casa; but mostly tu casa es mi casa

Yeah, so I basically lived at your house this year, I'd be lying if I said it's not going to happen again, because we both know it will; I'll just clean up after myself better!

8. We laugh so much together, that is my workout for the day

Honestly, I don't even know what is so funny, because we also workout and do homework together, so I am not really sure how we are always laughing...

9. Sorry I am always leaving my crap at your place

I WILL WORK ON IT OKAY?!

10. I can't wait for this new year!!!

Julie, you only come once in a lifetime, and I know we joke about transferring schools, but you made DePaul a lot more bearable. Just wanted to thank you for always being amazing. For always being real as fuck, and calling me out on my bullshit. For letting me cry to you, and making me food when I needed it. Thank you for letting my crash on your couch, and tag you on a lot of Insta posts. Thank you for being a real friend, specially ON HALLOWEEN! Thank you for the letter, while I was in Fort Knox! This one is for you, because I can't wait for all of our adventures, and what 2018 has ins tore for us! I miss you so much, and I cannot wait to see you <3

Love,

Mike Mike

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
