I think people want love to be a feeling that happens all at once, during one particular moment, on a specific day. This may be the case for when someone realizes they love you, but it's something that builds over time.

Love needs to be grown. Usually, there is a series of small (or big) things that occur over the course of days, months, or years that make one person fall for another. It may be something you said or did, and forgot about.

Not her, though. She'll never forget those moments.

1. You scraped the ice off her car

She didn't even ask, you just did it.

2. You cook for her

Who doesn't adore home-cooked meals?

3. You splurge on her

Gifts are wonderful when you can tons of thought was put into them.

4. You listen to her

Whether she wants to complain about mundane life shit, or gush about a celebrity.

5. You give her all of the cuddles she wants

No questions asked.

6. You're open and honest about your feelings

None of us are mind-readers, and communication is so important.

7. You genuinely support her

Even if that means sharing her worst Odyssey articles and telling her they're amazing.

8. You always make time for her

She's a priority, instead of work.

9. You listen to her sappy music

Whether she's belting out Hamilton: The American Musical or Ed Sheeran on your rides to work, you still smile.

10. You never give up on her

Even though she thinks you should have given up on her a long time ago, you genuinely want to stay, and you do.

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving has become an underrated holiday over the years. You barely see any Thanksgiving decorations in stores; it's like they skip right from Halloween to Christmas.

Some universities only get two or three days off for Thanksgiving break. Or, if your university is like mine, you get the whole week off go go home. A whole week off is a long time. For college students everywhere, Thanksgiving is a time to relax and not really worry about homework (well, depending on what major you're in).
