If you're anything like me, sometimes you just need a good cry. We subject ourselves to sad movies, books and TV shows just so we can feel the pain of others. Sometimes, we want to cry happy tears instead. On our busy days we don't have the time to binge watch Grey's Anatomy or watch The Notebook 17 times in a row, so here are some shorts and commercials that will get the trick done. Enjoy!

1. This Paper and Packaging commercial about a son whose father is in the war.

2. This touching commercial about father and daughter.

3. This absolutely beautiful short about kindness and joy with an equally beautiful soundtrack.

4. Doesn't that animation remind you of "Up"? Well here's the entire beginning of "Up"!

(Bonus! Don't cry sad tears because here's the real life Carl And Ellie!)

5. Are you crying yet? Here's one more father-daughter duo to make you tear up.

6. Who knew gum commercials could be so emotional? Extra does it again here with this touching love story.

7. This next commercial is just the cutest, especially if you like dogs, or lions.

8. Keeping on the theme of dogs, here's a very moving short created by a young animator.

9. If that made you gooey, this next one is really going to hit home. Here's a preview to an upcoming move "A Dog's Purpose". I couldn't get through even half of it without crying.

10. To finish it off, here's my all time favorite Disney short, Lava.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed my favorite tear jerkers. They may be short, but they are just as powerful as Oscar winning movies, and you still have time to get your work done for the day!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
