Do you ever have those days where you aren't feeling the upbeat music?

The days where you feel as though you are reminiscing about the days when you were younger?

Or when you're reflecting on old friendships, relationships, or hardships? When I am feeling this way, I usually turn to my best friend; music. Here are my top 10 songs that put me in the feels.

1. "Morning"- Marc E. Bassy

Marc E. Bassy sings his love for a woman in the song Morning. He talks about how he would love her throughout any circumstance, but the ultimate question is, would she love him the same?

2. "Jealous"- Labrinth

Jealous is all about what being jealous is like. Labrinth voices all of his jealousies he has towards his lover and how he wishes he was even the rain and win, just to be closer to her again.

3. "Stay"- Rihanna, Mikky Ekko

Stay is a wonderful description of what it's like to be left after an argumentative relationship. Although this hasn't ever happened to me, I feel as though Rihanna and Mikky musically explain what it's like both lyrically and rhythmically.

4. "Happier"- Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran sings his heart in every song he sings. All of his songs put me in the feels, but especially Happier. He sings about his ex and how he feels as though she is happier without him. A truly emotional song that pulls at the heartstrings!

5. "Made of Glass"- Lil Yachty

Made of Glass is a song that explains how it feels like not being noticed by someone. He openly shares about a crush he has and how he is trying to grasp her attention. Lil Yachty uses great description to explain what he is feeling.

6. "I Found"- Amber Run

I Found is about finding unexpected love. Love comes at the most random times, but especially when you aren't looking for it. Amber Run does a great job setting the tone of what it was like to be recognized.

7. "Dive"- Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran is trying to grasp on to some form of confirmation of someone's love in the song Dive. He is saying not to call him "baby" if they don't even mean it. He cannot tell if this girl is a player or not since he keeps hearing rumors that she is.

8. "Harveston Lake"- Johnny Rain

Harveston Lake is a low key song that talks about a relationship that ended with an affair. The girl kept saying that she needed him although he was always by her side. He is explaining their love and how he is now lost when he thought she had found him.

9. "When I Look at You"- Miley Cyrus

When I Look at You is a serious classic. It's the type of song that you blast in your car and sing on the top of your lungs while thinking of your lover. It doesn't need much of an explanation than that.

10. "Psycho, Pt. 2"- Russ

Although Psycho, Pt.2 isn't necessarily a sad song, the background rhythm always puts me in a trace. It is so melodically beautiful.

Next time you're looking for some songs to get you into your feels, make yourself a playlist with these and dive in.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
