If you're reading this, chances are you've been labeled a "Jesus Freak" at some point in your life. And, chances are you've probably resented being put into that category. This is just a friendly reminder of some of the positives to being raised in the church. Here are 10 signs you were raised a Jesus Freak
1. Attending church every Sunday was a must.
2. You regularly got weird looks for jamming out to VBS songs in your car (especially in the summer).
3. You are in the church building at least three times a week (Church on Sunday, Bible Study on Wednesday, Prayer Group on Friday).
4. You took great pride in memorizing your scripture verses for AWANA.
5. You watched "Veggie Tales" regularly, and probably applied their songs to your daily life.
6. Dates started with the guy asking your dad for permission first.
7. Seeing your pastor in "normal" clothes was an odd occurrence.
8. You made up clean phrases to replace cuss words... and most of them included food in the name (cheese and rice, what the flapjack, holy guacamole).
9. Spaghetti straps were only to be worn under another shirt.
10. You got strange looks for praying before eating your lunch in school (and probably for the heated Biblical discussions taking place at the lunch table).
