New Jersey, the state that is always in a rush, but never has something THAT important to go to. Whether it is cursing your head off, honking your horn for the entirety of your drive, or even just yelling for the sake of yelling, because we all know the other car can't possibly hear us, a silent drive is never an option.

If you do any of the following, you are most definitely a New Jersey Driver.

1. Speed up and stop:

Speeding up and stopping just shy of someones tailpipe just so no one cuts you off, (even if you are sitting in dead stopped traffic).

2. Flipping the bird:

If you don't flip someone off at least once, then why are you even driving?

3. Cutting people off:

We hate when someone does it to us, but we just love doing it to other people (and signaling is optional, obviously).

4. The speed limit has no limit:

If it says 25, you're usually doing 40.

5. Our horn is sacred:

Sometimes we just honk because everyone else is or we just need another way of calling someone an idiot.

6. There is no such thing as a yellow light:

If it's yellow, it's basically green. Yellow doesn't mean slow down, it means speed up at the last possible second. If you stop at a yellow light, chances are you're getting rear-ended.

7. The left lane has its own speed limit:

The left lane is not for passing, it's for drivers who want to go over 70 miles per hour, and if you go under 70, chances are you're getting flipped off or cursed out.

8. Constantly reassuring yourself that YOU are the best driver:

Everyone else are amateurs when you're on the road, you are the only one who knows how to drive.

9. You hate being the passenger:

If you're not driving, you are panicking. Everyone else's driving puts you on edge, or you just like being in control.

10. We loathe out of state drivers:

Anyone who's not from Jersey follows the speed limit and are polite drivers, and we can not stand it. If you're from out of state chances are you will be cut off and avoided at all costs.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
