1. Music is almost always too loud.

If someone’s music is playing at a volume higher than some easy background noise, then it’s too loud.

2. Technology is impossible to work.

From connecting to Wi-Fi to figuring out how to save a document as a PDF, it’s usually easier to just let one of your more tech-savvy friends figure it out.

3. You have a proficiency for saving money.

When was the last time you paid full price for anything? If you can’t find a good coupon or sale for it, then you’re not buying it.

4. It stresses you out when people don’t eat enough…

How can you go through your day without sitting down and eating one single meal?!

5. And when people don’t dress properly for the weather.

Whenever you see someone wearing jeans in 100-degree weather or shorts and sandals when it’s raining outside, you start to wonder about the sanity of some people.

6. Naps are the highlight of your day.

Let’s face it, it’s practically impossible to make it through the day without at least one hour of daytime rest.

7. You can never hear anything.

You tend to ask your friends to repeat themselves at least four or five times before giving up, laughing and hoping that it’s the appropriate response to whatever they were saying.

8. Anybody who hits you up for plans that start past 9 p.m. is ignored.

Listen—if you’re texting me to make plans this late, chances are I’m already prepped and ready for bed. Don’t bother.

9. You love to wear sensible shoes.

Nothing beats a good pair of comfortable sandals or tennis shoes. High heels who?

10. Nothing makes you happier than staying at home.

The ultimate sign that you’re an elderly person in a young body—nothing truly brings you more joy than curling up on your couch to watch TV, read a book, or just go to bed early.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
