Friends come and go, but if you're lucky, you will have an older sister who will be your best friend since the day you are born. In my case, I am extra lucky as I was born into the world already having two best friends!

Older sisters can be mean at times, but sometimes, as the youngest and most spoiled child, you need a good kick in the butt from someone. It will hurt, but it will also make you stronger.

1. Older sisters will always want the best for their little sisters.

Girl, they know that boy is no good for you.

2. Older sisters will have you listening to the coolest music in elementary school.

While my classmates were listening to Avril Lavigne in Middle school, my iPod was full of Akon, Slim Shady, Tupac, Outkast, Dr. Dre, Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Björk, Death Cab for Cutie, Shakira, Bob Marley, and The Drums.

3. Older sisters will tell you what's hot and what's not.

Being the girl with the most swag is easy when you have two older sisters.

4. You can tell your older sister anything.

They may get mad, but they will understand, and they will do everything they can to make you feel better or to help you.

5. Older sisters will let you watch R-rated movies when you are nine.

6. Older sisters make the best food.

7. Older sisters will give you the best tips and advice about any subject. From boys, health tips, fashion tips, life hacks, food tricks, what computer to buy, and pretty much anything else.

8. Having an older sister means you will always have somewhere to go.

Older sisters will always wait for you with open arms no matter how hectic their life may be at the time.

9. It is always fun when people tell you you look like just your older sister!

10. No matter how much time you spend apart from your older sister, when you see each other, you will always be best friends!

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
