10 Reasons My Roommates Are Weirder Than Yours

From the tan Halloween decorated door, we seem like normal loving roommates. Once you come in and look at our picture wall, you think "What the hell is wrong with these girls?"

1. Self Tan Each Other

When winter rolls around, we depend on each other to rub Jergens where the sun doesn't shine!

2. Hired a maid

Yes, (one of them) is just that freaking lazy..... $60 later.

3. We always have Friends on a TV

It is not uncommon to hear "I'll be there for you" in one room and hearing Pheobe's "smelly cat" in another.

4. Peeing with the door open so we can talk

We have separation anxiety, it is that serious.

5. "Smell me"

At least once a day I get the question "Do I really have to shower?" Yes. Yes you do.

6. Calling the maintenance guys 3 times a week

They know us by name and fixed things from squeaky doors to peepholes.

7. Letting the trash overflow

It has become a game, Mackenzie usually wins.

8. We are each other's doctors

Hey, can you tell me why I have this weird pimple on my inner thigh?

9. They use outside voices inside

We yell at each other 25/8, but it is out of love...I promise.

10. They love me (which is weird in itself)

For some reason, they chose me, probably because I am just as weird as them.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
