The 10 Makeup Products I Live By That Every Girl Needs
Think Pynk

Do you ever look at your skin care products and makeup and think "man my face looks awful, why?" Well, I may have a few answers for you... these skin care and makeup products are what I use on a day to day basis and they never fail to leave my face moisturized a feeling great!

1. A good face wash and exfoliating brush

So I know that, as college kids, we live on a budget and we don't all have the money to buy a Soniclear Mia brush! But let me tell you... the Soniclear travel brush is a little under $100 and is amazing! I use it every day and it never makes me feel like my face is stripped of skin and too many oils. With my face wash, I like to think cheap. I use Ulta brand face wash. It is only $10 and makes my skin feel hydrated and refreshed.

2. A good moisturizer

If your skin feels dry and stretched after washing your face, you might want to try a new moisturizer. I always try to look for a gentle skin moisturizer because I find that it leaves my face moisturized longer. I use Arbonne gentle skin face lotion and Shaklee youth face cream (they both leave my face feeling silky smooth and softer than a baby's butt).

3. Elf Poreless Primer

This primer is as good, if not better than the high-end smash box photo finish primer! I LOVE this product. Not to mention it is only $6 anywhere you go.

4. MAC fix+

THIS!!!! I love this product. I use it every time I put on my makeup. after my skincare routine, I spray it on (before and after primer) and every time I put a new liquid on my face (foundation concealer, cream contour) and after every powder product (setting powder, eyeshadow, bronzer, and highlight).

5. Shape tape concealer

this is a full Coverage concealer that I use all the time. sometimes I even use it as a foundation because I am lazy.

6. Urban Decay illuminating trio

I live for this highlighter trio. One swipe with the brush onto your cheekbone and BAM you could blind someone.

7. Too Faced eyeshadow pallets

I love the Pigments on the Too Faced pallets are great. They are so easy to apply and last all day long! I'm not kidding. I work out and sometimes I come from work and I sweat ( a LOT) and it still stays on my face like I just put it on.

8. Tarte Man eater mascara

This Mascara never clumps and makes it look like I am wearing false eyelashes. I love this stuff!

9. Ulta 24k gold face oil

I use this Product for more than just my face. I use it for my lips and hair as well! the directions on the bottle tell you how to use it and even the online store tells you the best ways to use them!

10. FACE MASKS!!!!!

I love face masks so much. I always try and use them when I have the time to sit and relax but every time I go to Ulta, Sephora, or the Beauty Store, I am always buying a face mask! (peel off masks are my favorite).

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
