Fall break for people who live far away is basically pointless. when you live 8 hours from home, its not worth it to be home for 3 days. Being a college student on campus during fall break, i have learned a couple of things.

1) Domino's is Bae

Caf food is already pretty bad, but during fall break they do not put in effort AT ALL. You will learn that pizza is your new best friend, plus you don't even have to leave your building.

2) You can watch whatever you want and nobody can judge you

And added bonus, you don't have to wear headphones

3) You become very afraid of the dark

Without your roommate, things become terrifying, especially when there are clown threats at your school. You learn to sleep with the door locked.

4) Your school work can always wait until after the next episode

You tell yourself only one more but then 6 episodes later and you're too far in to stop now. Plus you have all week...right?

5) Everything is quiet

There is literally no one on campus, walking around feels so lonely.

6) You get really lazy

You have no motivation at all to move, you might even sleep with the lights on just because you're to lazy to turn them off.

7) You sing in the shower

...Loudly, and there is no one around to hear it.

8) You don't care what you look like

You will walk out of the room without shoes on, hair in a bun, PJs, and a HUGE sweatshirt, and you could literally not care less.

9) You might start to get a little stir crazy

After watching all of Grey's Anatomy in one sitting, you might start to lose your mind just a bit. You might even start doing laundry or dishes, just because there is nothing else to do.

10) You miss your friends a lot

You are counting down the hours until your friends and roommate get back on campus.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
