It's holiday season! In wake of "The Last Jedi" coming out, there's a lot of Star Wars fans, both old and new, buzzing with excitement. With Christmas season right around the corner as well, now is the perfect time to get the "Star Wars" fan in your life a gift that they'll love. Here are just a few ideas:

1. "Star Wars" Mad Libs Book.

This twist on the classic game is a perfect stocking stuffer!

2. Funko Pop Figurines.

When in doubt, you can't go wrong with a funko pop!

3. Star Wars Galaxy Poster.

I love this poster! It has everyone from episodes 1-6, and the artwork is absolutely stunning!

4. Tickets to see "The Last Jedi".

Price: Depends on your local movie theater!

What better gift is there than tickets to see a Star Wars movie?!

5. Coffee Mug.

This coffee mug might not look like much, but it's actually really cool! It's heat reactive, so the light-sabers don't appear until after you pour in the coffee.

6. Chewbacca Mask.

This mask roars like Chewbacca whenever you open your mouth! It's a fun gag gift, that's a barrel of laughs!

7) The "William Shakespeare's Star Wars Trilogy" bookset.

This book series is a novelization of the original Star Wars trilogy, told in Shakespearean prose! This is perfect for a bibliophile fan!

8) "Hoth" Sweet "Hoth" sweater.

"The weather on Hoth is frightful, but this sweater is so delightful!"

9. Star Wars Episode VIII Lego Set.

Old and young fans alike can appreciate the fun you can have with the Star Wars lego sets.

10. Death Star Popcorn Maker.

This is so awesome! It's a popcorn maker that has a removable top that you can use as a bowl! It puts you right in the mood to watch Star Wars for the umpteenth time!

Happy shopping, my young padawans. May the force be with you!

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
