Cartoons are one of those things that can never be forgotten. If the Teen Titans theme song started playing right now, I could sing the entire thing. Cartoons are still being created and they get even better as time goes on. Here is a list of cartoons to remember and a few to start watching.

1. The Powerpuff Girls (Original Series).

"Sugar, spice, and everything nice." If only that was what girls were really made of. Even though Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup had these ingredients, they still had their flaws. They may not have always had the same dilemmas as you and me, but that didn't stop kids from loving them.

2. Catdog.

"Just a feline canine little catdog." I still try to figure out why I loved this cartoon so much. Maybe it was the idea of a cat and dog being conjoined. It was probably because I could relate to the cat. In the end, it doesn't matter why because it was a great show.

3. Dexter's Laboratory.

"You are stupid! You are Stupid! And don't forget...You are STUPID!!"-Dexter. Go ahead and admit that there is a little bit of Dexter in you somewhere. Dexter was that part of you that got fed up with people real quick. Is there anyone more honest than Dexter? Those insults were on a level of their own.

4. Scooby Doo.

"Scooby-Dooby-Doo!"- Scooby This cartoon is one that will live on forever. I mean, Scooby is everywhere. You can find episodes of Scooby Doo with WWE and Supernatural stars in them. Please, take the time and name a friendship stronger than Shaggy and Scobby... I'll wait.

5. Tom and Jerry.

"That's my boy"- Spike. Tom and Jerry is something I watch every time it comes on. It never gets old watching these two go at it. Has anyone been keeping score of who is winning and losing? If you are, please tell me who is winning.

6. Steven Universe.

"We are the crystal gems." I love this show more than I can possibly explain. Exciting storylines, complex characters, and amazing music. What more could one possibly want?

7. The Loud House.

"One boy and ten girls, Wouldn't trade it for the world!" I will not deny that I have watched this show with my sister more than once willingly. I always find myself wrapped up into whatever crazy day Lincoln is having with his eccentric sisters. This is a great cartoon because the characters are easy to relate to and all have a passion like we do.

8. Teen Titans Go.

"Waffles, waffles!" -Beast Boy. Teen Titans Go is a great show as well. It is a little silly and brings back fond memories of the original show. The music in this show can be pretty great too.

9. The Amazing World of Gumball.

"Aww, Nobody cares about the summer of 83!" - Gumball Watterson. This show has some great moments. I love hearing the characters say things that I only think of saying.

10. Spongebob Squarepants.

"I have no soul." – Squidward Tentacles." Now, wait and hear me out before you judge me. I like Spongebob because we all have some Squidward in us. Plus, give the show some credit. They must be doing something right if there are still new episodes being made.

If these cartoons bring back some fond memories for you, go watch them! We are never too old to appreciate this kind of art.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
