Christmas Time is here again! The most wonderful time of the year NEVER fails to bring with it the best in movies, music, and family activities; whether it be decorating the Christmas tree with bows, ornaments, and lights,, exchanging gifts under the tree, or ice skating under the lights in Central Park!

10. It's A Wonderful Life

This Christmas Classic has ALWAYS brought joy to the Holiday Season for countless decades on end!

9. The Polar Express

The Polar Express always instills within every viewer a sense of believing in the power of Christmas- and of Santa, of course, and that special train ticket that would bring you to see him.

8. How The Grinch Stole Christmas

This one never gets old, no matter how many remakes it goes through! The live version, the cartoon, the 2018 version... Christmas Time just wouldn't be complete without our favorite lime-colored, fuzzy villain!

7. A Christmas Carol

An entertaining story with a great message, displaying to us the real reasons for the season.

6. A Christmas Story

An all-time classic, this comedy always makes me laugh.

5. The Year Without A Santa Claus

Cartoons never go out of style, especially the Christmas ones that always make me feel like a child again.

4. Prancer

Although it's not the most famous Christmas Classic, this 1989 film is inspiring, uplifting, and so dear to me. If you've never seen it, I completely recommend adding this one to your list of Must-See's this Holiday Season.

3. Miracle On 34th Street

Sweet Classics never go out of style.

2. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Quite possibly, one of the funniest Christmas movies there is. (Next to Elf, of course.) This film is timeless, exceeding its time in terms of humor, entertainment, and all-around good nature. It's hilarious from a 1989 viewpoint, and never fails to make modern families today burst out laughing, especially at parts like, "Look, kids, a deer!"

1. Elf

I must have watched this movie over at least fifty times over in the past couple of years, and I know it's every line word for word- but somehow, some way, it never fails to make me laugh and smile! Maybe it's Will Ferrell's raw and honest humor, or maybe it's Buddy The Elf's genuine sincerity and affinity for "Elf-Culture." Whatever it is, this movie isn't going away for a while and will be enjoyed by generations of humanity with "an affinity for Elf Culture" for a very long time.

As I 'wrap this up,' I would just like to wish every reader a very, very Merry Christmas. This is the busiest season of the year, but please don't forget to sit down, relax, and drink some hot cocoa while watching a Christmas Movie with your family- or better yet, go ride around the town looking at Christmas Lights. Whatever you do to celebrate the season, make sure you have a great time, make the most of your time with your loved ones, and remember the reason for the season- whatever that reason is for you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
