College is a transformative, defining four year period for students. This is where you find your passions. Its where you make your strongest friendships. Its the place where you become more of the person you were meant to be. And while the positive benefits of the college experience are many, the road to achieving them is not so clearly paved. It can be racked with stress, exhaustion, and anxiety. And at the end of the day, it can be so easy to feel so overwhelmed. So small. And sometimes its so easy to ask ourselves, "What am I doing wrong?" We want help. Luckily for us, God's word has the answers. All of them. We just need to remember to look.
1. Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
The Lord will give you strength. Use it.
2. Psalm 107:6
"Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and e delivered them from their distress."
God will hold your hand through the tough moments.
3. 1 Peter 5:7
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
Give all your glory to God. But don't be afraid to give him your anxiety too.
4. Proverbs 16:3
"Entrust your efforts to the Lord, and your plans will succeed."
God will help you reach your goals.
5. Psalm 121:1
" I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."
God will help you. You need only ask.
6. Philippians 4:6
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer, present your requests to God.
Pray. Over and over and over.
7. Romans 8:18
"Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later."
This too will pass.
8. Matthew 6:34
"Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow,for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Stay focused on what you can do to change today.
9. Psalms 61:2
"When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I."
Cling to the Lord for help.
10. Psalms 46:5
God is with her, she will not fall.
You will be successful. You need only God's help.
