I know many people hate reality tv, but as a huge fan of it, I thought I'd share some of the best reality tv series out there. Here are the top 10 reality tv shows that you need in your life!

1. The Real Housewives

No matter which state or area it is, I personally love all of the housewife shows. My personal favorites are The Real Housewives of Orange County, New York City, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Potomac, Dallas, and of course, Atlanta. It's basically a show that revolves around a group of grown women with literally more interesting lives and drama than I do. Plus, each housewife has their own tagline and they are honestly hysterical. I mean there's drama, drinking, friendship, and everything else combined into a one hour episode. There's honestly never a dull episode in my opinion.

2. Vanderpump Rules

Vanderpump Rules is interesting because it's basically Lisa Vanderpump's show. Lisa Vanderpump is one of the Beverly Hills housewives. Vanderpump owns several different bars/restaurants/lounges in California and one of them is Sur. The cast of Vanderpump Rules includes all people who either have worked at Sur or currently work there. The show is almost like a younger version of The Real Housewives, but with both girl and guys.

3. Southern Charm

So there are 3 different kinds of Southern Charm shows. There's Southern Charm New Orleans, Savannah, and then the original Southern Charm which takes place in Charleston. The OG Southern Charm is personally my favorite. The shows basically encompass money and scandal that date back through their generations. In other words, it's a classier, more sophisticated version of The Real Housewives or Vanderpump Rules.

4. Keeping Up With The Kardashians

I think this one is sort of just expected, but I had to throw it in. Keeping Up With The Kardashians, to me, is like the OG reality TV show. It's been around since 2007 and their 16th season is being released at the end of this month. I mean 16 seasons?! Must be a pretty good show. It's all about a big family and their lives. The family consists of Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian. The clan's popularity has grown substantially over the years and they just keep getting bigger and bigger. Not just that, but their drama just keeps getting juicier and juicer (aka the Jordyn Woods and Tristian Thompson drama going viral right now). If you're into reality tv and can understand the struggles of a big family, I'd definitely give the show a chance, despite the negativity it often receives.

5. Below Deck

There are two Below Deck shows. There's the original Below Deck and then Below Deck Mediterranean. My personal favorite is Below Deck Mediterranean, but they are both good nonetheless. The show captures a group of young, yacht crew members and all the different aspects of their lives. This includes, their work, their guests, and of course, drama and love affairs between crew members. It's cool to see the different places they travel as well as the different types of guests that come aboard the ship. Never a boring episode, that's for sure!

6. Million Dollar Listing

There are two Million Dollar Listing shows. Million Dollar Listen Los Angeles and Million Dollar Listing New York. The series captures some of the most amazing properties in Los Angeles and New York. Both shows have a cast that include some of the most well known, high end real estate agents a person can get. It shows the hustle and bustle of their everyday as well as their family life and even intertwined drama between the local real estate agents.

7. Chrisley Knows Best

Chrisley Knows Best is all about Todd Chrisley and his family. This show honestly is kind of corny, but it's addicting. I mean it has family drama, but it's also funny, and it always tries to teach its viewers an over arching lesson at the end of each episode. At times it can seem a little fake or cheesy, but can't all reality tv? And we still love it!

8. Very Cavallari

Very Cavallari is all about the life of Kristin Cavallari. What is so interesting about the show is that Kristen was actually previously on the show The Hills in her younger years. However, she is now a wife to former NFL star, Jay Cutler, and a mother to 3 children. Although she does not show her children on the show, her husband is very much present in the series and he makes it pretty funny. The first season was all about Kristin juggling her role as a mom, wife, friend, and businesswoman/entrepreneur as she opened up her very own store called Uncommon James. The season premier of Season 2 is March 3 and I can't wait for it. I'm assuming it will be all about how her Uncommon James store has been doing since it's launch in the first season. Definitely give it a try, especially if you were a big fan of The Hills.

9. Married to Medicine

This is a show that I just really picked up in the Fall, but it's really good. It's all about the lives of different doctors in Atlanta and their spouses/families. The group of doctors is also all friends so you know there will always be drama. Some of the couples have only one doctor as a spouse and some of the couples have both spouses as doctors. It's really interesting because it takes place in Atlanta so maybe you might know a few of the doctors if you're from here.

10. Don't Be Tardy

Don't Be Tardy is a spin-off from a show called Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding. Both are spin-off's given to the former Real Housewife of Atlanta, Kim Zolciak-Biermann. Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding was all about the planning and preparation for the big wedding of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann. After that, the show just became Don't Be Tardy. The name of the show in itself is pretty funny because it comes from Kim's song "Tardy for the Party" that she released in 2009. The show is now in it's 7th season since 2012. The show is all about Kim, Kroy, and their 6 children. If you've never see

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
