As soon as you begin to hear the beginning instrumentals your stomach beings to tighten, you want to change the station but like a scary movie... You know inside you want to hear/ know what's going to happen next.

Four minutes later your wiping away the final tears and pulling yourself together while the guy sitting at the red light next to you wonders if you're having an argument in the car with yourself or your just plain crazy.

Well no sir, this is just another moment when grief takes over and once again for a short four minutes you lose all control.

Part of me loves this song, loves the meaning, the reflection, the love and the life; but the bigger part of me wishes this song meant nothing to me.

For me, this song has a deeper connection, losing my dad there have been many times I've wished I could "see [his] face" and many times I've doubted he was truly in a better place because selfishly I believe the best place for him would be here with me, with my family, seeing our accomplishments and being apart of every great thing life has to offer.

At one point the song goes "you be freaking out, you'd be smiling...I know you'd be all proud of what's going on right here right now..." And that is so very true, every time I hear that I think of all I have to be thankful for and proud of, but I cannot deny how much better I would feel to know you were physically here to celebrate all our successes as well.

While this song brings much great reflection and feelings of love, it has a way of making you feel very empty and emotional at the same time, because when the song ends, for the next few minutes you are stuck thinking how badly you wish things were different, how badly I wish you were still here. As the song goes "they say now your in a better place, I know I would be too if I could see your face"

So Cole, again thank you for making a song that is sad but a true reality that forces me to reflect on all I have to be thankful for and the amazing man I was lucky enough to be able to call dad. How luck I am to have someone mean so much that it hurts so much to miss.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
