I started a bullet journal roughly a year ago. Throughout this year, I've added an endless amount of lists, To-Dos, and calendars to make organizing a little easier for me. With a bullet journal, I don't have to carry around a notebook, a journal, or any other organizer since everything fits within the pages. Nowadays to plan and get organized, all I need are a pen, a pencil, and my journal.
1. If you're a list lover, this will be your next favorite thing.
I love lists. I've created lists everywhere: on my laptop, on my phone, on my Reminder app, in different notebooks. Bullet journals have minimized the number of places I have lists because of a majority of my lists are now organized in my journal.
2. It's a Jack of all trades.
So, maybe lists aren't your thing. Maybe you want to draw more, or make collages, or use it to write and journal your thoughts. Whatever your needs are, a bullet journal fits that. It's much more than a journal or a planner. It can help keep you accountable to your goals or can hold your favorite lyrics, movies you want to watch, books you want to read, or a bucket list.
3. You get to be creative.
I, personally, am not the creative type, but there are a few YouTubers and hundreds of videos to spark some creativity andget your doodling and creating different spreads. I've been able to be a bit more daring with my journal because I get to chose how I fill in the pages. Not all of your works may be perfect, but it's fun creating!
4. It's customizable.
I hate planners. There's never enough space to write or I hate how the pages are set up. I can tell you I've never used a planner for an entire year. With my bullet journal, I use constantly because I can make it the way I want. Because I'm in school, I tend to use one side for school work and the opposite side for work and other obligations. You get to chose your color schemes, fonts, and just about everything in between, which is what I love most about having a bullet journal.
5. It's easy and fun.
Bullet journals may seem daunting since you're in complete control, but they're actually super easy and fun. Once you get into it, the possibilities are endless
