Drinking water is super important to do and can benefit you a lot. This is due to how it nourishes the body and mind with beneficial properties. Starting your morning with this clear drink allows you to boost your metabolism, increase your alertness and so much more.

1. Enhances Energy Levels

Without water, we often feel lazy and unable to do activities we like to do (due to the feeling of dehydration) which leads to headache city. Headaches can really dampen your energy levels-- and as many, as you know, headaches are often caused by a lack of water, in which a simple fix it... you guessed it.. being hydrated and drinking water. Having enough water in your system allows one to have higher energy levels.

2. It Prevents Headaches.

all the points I noted above, are the same reasons why drinking enough water can prevent headaches. YAY.

3. It Prevents Constipation.

I know, but it is a benefit, which means I have to talk about it. Science shows that those who drink enough water every day have a better flow and cycle. No one likes being constipated. Our digestive systems, truly rely on our water consumption.

4. It is SUPER good for the skin

I know, we have all heard that water is a miracle liquid when it comes to the skin and acne properties. But it is true. If you are dehydrated, then your skin gets dry-- and when it gets dry, it produces more oil to try to try to lubricate itself, in which causes more acne. So, if you are hydrated and your skin is moistened by internal water regulation, then it wont over-produce oil that would lead to more acne production. So drink extra.

5. It flushes out toxins

The more liquid we consume, (especially water) the more our body has control over its healing properties and prevention of diseases such as UTI's. FLUSH out those toxins girl, stay hydrated.

6. Regulates a better mood

Being dehydrated can lead to bad moods and being crappy. It is a way of our bodies telling us that we need to drink more water. Being hydrated can literally help put you in a better mood and be happier. You will be glowing because your body will be functioning at its best.

7. Improves the immune system

Giphy

What if I could tell you that you could cut your sick days in half, or even completely. Drinking water and staying hydrated allows your body to eliminate toxins in your body by flushing the bad out, and allows nutrients to flow throughout the body easier. Sounds like a huge win-win to me.

8. Prevents Injuries

Giphy

When you stay hydrated, you are lubricating and cushioning your joints. No one likes feeling injured during a daily life activities or work--it sucks... a LOT and I have experienced just like I am sure many of you have. So next time, before going to the gym make sure to drink lots of water and stretch, it could prevent a sprain injury or more.

9. Aids in weight loss

Giphy

Consuming a lot of water, fills you up since your body is processing it. Weight loss is not a important motive to me and should not be the only reason you decide to stay hydrated.

10. Aids in body temperature regulation

Giphy

No one likes being too cold or too hot. Remaining at a stable and constant temperature is essential for everyday life. Since water makes up a huge percent of our body, it is important to live up to our bodies expectations.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
