Frankie Guitard

I would love the opportunity to work with The Odyssey. I think it would be a wonderful experience to see if this is something I'd like to pursue as a career. Working for The Odyssey would not be something that I would agonize doing everyday. I enjoy writing in my free time. Whether it be a story, blog posts, even essays. Yes, essays. I am very passionate when it comes to writing, especially when I have ideas flowing. I am from a small town in Vermont, close to the Canadian border. I decided to come to school in the South to experience a new environment...and to get away from the cold! I'm currently a Freshman in college studying to be an interior design. I enjoy doing community service and putting smiles on peoples faces. Most people I know would describe me as responsible, confident and personable. I am a team-player, detail-oriented and hard-working. I think working for The Odyssey would be an exciting chance to put my writing skills to the test. In my future, I aspire to be a successful interior designer. I hope to be well-known and open my own firm. I've been thinking about writing articles for design magazines in order to combine my two skills. I believe working for The Odyssey would be a creative way to decide on if writing is something I see myself doing in the future. All in all, I think becoming a writer would be a great adventure to embark on.
