To My Pet,

You know the basic "come here," and "stop" (not to mention a few hundred other things I say to you). But, it's the things I didn't teach you that made me realize how special you are.

From the day you joined the family and we brought you home, you have been special to me, if not, my whole family. We thought we were getting a pet, not another family member!

You know how to cheer me up when I didn't think anything in the day could go right, and you do it almost effortlessly. Whether it be getting up immediately when I get home to say hi to me or snuggling me when you know something is off. And, you are just being you. Which is a great and wonderful thing. Oh, and the naps together. Those are great!

Little do you know, you've helped me through some awful days and have impacted my life in a great way. Heck, I've considered getting you certified as a service pet so I can bring you everywhere I go. Instead of make me happy at home, I can bring you to the places that make me happy too, and I can share those places with my best friend.

Service pet or not, I am glad to have a friend like you in my life. And, I think just telling you I love you and am thankful for you isn't enough, hence a whole article dedicated to you(even though you can't read).

I love you, pal. Thank you. You're the reason I think humans are animals' best friends. Not the other way around.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
