Passion is defined as an intense eagerness to do something. To act upon something. To accomplish something. To achieve the unachievable.
"A passionate belief in your business and personal objectives can make all the difference between success and failure. If you aren't proud of what you're doing, why should anybody else be?" - Richard Branson
When I meet someone new, I observe their zest for life. I want to see LIFE. I want to make friends with people who motivate and inspire me. Who better my own being. Who strive to benefit the world around them. Who see positivity where others may not. I want to feel their beating heart.
"Whatever you do, do with determination. You have one life to live; do your work with passion and give your best. Whether you want to be a chef, doctor, actor, or a mother, be passionate to get the best result." --Alia Bhatt
So, to those also searching for a beating heart:
Do what you love. Do what makes you smile. Do what makes you laugh. Do what makes your heart beat at the thought of accomplishing your goal.
Never stop pushing and fighting. Don't stop until you reach your goal, and, even then, continue to reach for more. Be headstrong and active.
Find someone who is just as passionate as you about something. It doesn't matter if it's about the same thing or varying subjects—you need enthusiasm.
"If you have zest and enthusiasm you attract zest and enthusiasm. Life does give back in kind" --Norman Vincent Peale.
Take a break now and then to appreciate your surroundings! The world and humanity are beautifully peaceful, inspirational, and tender.
Don't be afraid of failing. Mistakes happen. I'm currently learning this lesson myself. Although it's hard to accept it and not give up, we must endure the struggle, pain, and fear. In the end, it's all worth it.
In the end, I will never stop being enlightened by peers who are just as passionate about something as I am about humanity. When I see their heartbeat, I am reminded of my own living soul. This motivation keeps me moving, breathing, and acting. So, thank you to those beating hearts and, hopefully, the world will continue to fill with adrenalized beings everyday.
