Too often, we find ourselves jamming out and singing along to the songs that pity the people of our past and question if we were good enough. However, Ariana brings us a new image. Not only does she bring a positive view to the table, but she tells us that we grow from those who leave us and for those who are not meant to be in our life. No time for negativity, just for growth. Through the ups and downs, we never experience a bitter Ariana.

"Thought I'd end up with Sean
But he wasn't a match
Wrote some songs about Ricky
Now I listen and laugh
Even almost got married
And for Pete, I'm so thankful
Wish I could say, "Thank you" to Malcolm
'Cause he was an angel"

When most people talk about their exes, the positivity is limited. However, we see none of that in this song.

The world was taken back by the death of the beloved Mac Miller. Unfortunately, fans took it to a point of blaming Ariana due to the devastating breakup. We saw Ariana go into hiding, as any normal human being would do. But soon, she came back with a simple Instagram of her newest angel. No caption, nothing. Just his sweet face, a picture from their relationship. Comments were disabled for this post. Fans were mourning and making the wrong choices, yet she chose to give them the benefit of the doubt without shutting down.

She's been through more than we can imagine. I saw a tweet the other day that stated it quite simply: Ariana has been through more than most and still stands tall. She experienced a terrorist attack at her own concert, killing 22 of her beloved fans. Her ex-boyfriend took his own life, and then she was blamed for it. Her engagement failed, and she sings about it so quickly after. Yet, she still gives us hope and positivity. If she can do it, so can we.

We as women are powerful. We have the power to come together and break down the barrier of negativity. There is no time to knock down other women. We must learn from the hurt and let it make us that much stronger.

I thank Ariana Grande. I thank her for reminding me that I am strong alone. I thank her for all of the songs I continue to scream at the top of my lungs with my friends in the car. I thank her for showing me that I can always get back up no matter what or who tries to knock me down.

This song is about more than just exes, it is about growth and power.

So put on your best Ariana playlist and blast that girl power. Because together, we can all channel our inner Ariana and show our strength. But in the meantime, we thank you Ariana, but PLEASE what song is next? We're ready for more. Thank u, next.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
