10 Things To Do On A Texas State Bus Ride

And the one thing we all do instead

10 Things To Do On A Texas State Bus Ride

1.Do your makeup

(For the girl running late with bags under her eyes)

2. Check your fantasy football team

(The power rankings are not looking so powerful lately)

3. Play Hungry Shark

(My personal favorite at the moment)

4. Make an important phone call

(SHHH... do not be THAT person)

5. Sleep with your mouth open

(Make everyone else uncomfortable)

6. Listen to a podcast

("The Briefing" by Albert Moher is a good choice)

7. Sit and fret

(Enough said)

8. Grab a snack

(Eat and stare forlornly out the window while you have earbuds in, but aren't actually listening to anything) (Me always)

9. Actually have a conversation with someone

(Like out loud. With actual words.)

(because nobody gave up their seat for you and you have very bad balance and fly into/bump every single person on the bus)

What does every college student do instead?

11. Listen to music and text people

(or pretend to text people)

Soccer, Spain and Racism

The whirlwind events of last week reflects the sad state of sports in Europe.

Soccer, Spain and Racism

When we think of events that have transpired in the US over the last few years, a lot of it ends up in spotlighting the division in the country. However, things across the pond seem to be no better - at least when it comes to sports. Last week, Real Madrid - arguably the richest sports franchise in the world, had one of their Brazilian strikers subject to vicious racist attacks in Valencia.
