It's a two-way road, so stay in you lane.
Communicating is a vital part of any relationship. Whether it be a professional relationship for work, a friendship, or a romantic one, communication with one another is incredibly important. Without it, the relationship would fail. The line of communication is a two-way road, both people need to talk as well as sit back and listen. The listening part is what a lot of people struggle with.
You need to set aside your pride and have a conversation. No one likes to talk about really serious stuff, especially when it's addressing something personal like the way you drive or how you treat others. But these conversations are critical to building a strong and solid relationship.
Far too often do we sit back with our mouths closed. If something is wrong, speak up about it. Problems don't just go away; they simply just get pushed to the side and fester until one small little thing triggers it all. To avoid fights, calmly talk things out.
Opinions are okay to have, but to give an opinion requires you to be receptive of another's. I personally need to practice what I preach at times and be more open to what's out there. Everyone has their opinions and opinions need to be shared. They open your eyes, give you different ways of thinking, and can even alter your life.
The point is, every single human interaction requires good communication. Having an open and honest relationship could be the very thing that keeps it together. With open communication, you build trust and comfortability. Speak your mind, but do so in a calm and mature manner.
Now go out and start talking. You'll be surprised how many things can be solved once we just start talking about them.
