5 NFL Teams That Are In For A Quarterback Hunt This Off-Season
NFL teams that are in dire need for a Quarterback
Quarterback is the most important position in the NFL. Many teams have their franchise quarterback, but there are still teams that do not. There are a few QB's on the market or in the draft and here are five teams that need a QB the most.
Miami Dolphins
Miami has Ryan Tannehill who is an average QB, but thats the problem he's average and nothing more. He doesn't help them win games, but sometimes he loses games for them. The Dolphins have offensive talent and some defensive talent and have the capability to make the playoffs. They just need a QB. The Dolphins need the next Dan Marino.
Denver Broncos
Since, Peyton Manning left the Broncos a couple years back, John Elway (the General Manager) has be unsuccessful in finding their new franchise QB. Case Keenum, while solid, is not the answer. Elway needs to make a splash in the draft this year to stay as the GM or he's gonna be gone without every finding a successful QB.
Washington Redskins
The Redskins were set for the next couple years, until Alex Smith's gruesome injury which is potentially career ending. Now there is no clear answer in the Redskin's roster on who will be the starting QB. Colt McCoy and Josh Johnson, while formidable backups, are not starting QB material. With this in mind, it is imminent that the Redskins select a QB in the draft or sign a free agent to at least be set in the QB position for next year.
New York Giants
The Giants have a star running back in Saquon Barkley and they have a star Wide Receiver in Odell Beckham Jr and they have had a star quarterback in Eli Manning. Eli Manning hasn't been a good QB since about five years ago. The Giants are wasting years with Odell and Saquon by not getting a QB. With a gun-slinging quarterback the Giants would position themselves to make the playoffs. With a star QB, Odell and Saquon wouldn't have all the attention on them and would be able to make even more plays for the Giants to lead them back to the postseason. It is important that the Giants prioritize getting a QB for the sake of the Giants future.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Timeout... Blake Bortles isn't the answer. The Jaguars are such a good team, they just don't have a quarterback. It's so sad because the Jaguars would've been in the Superbowl last season if they had an average QB, but they didn't. They are in desperate need for a QB as having a decent one could potentially propel them to the Superbowl. Having a QB is more important for them than any other team as the Jaguars are the only team to lack a true starting QB.
