The sun is shining a little brighter, the birds are chirping a little louder, and the air is feeling a little warmer. This can only mean one thing: spring is approaching quickly! During this time of the year, the Earth blooms with the most beautiful colors—both pastel and bright. Why not try to incorporate them into your beauty routine? Here are 4 ways to wear spring in your makeup.

Peach

For a fresh glow, apply a peach-toned highlighter to the high points of your face. The dewy finish will brighten up your face, and the pop of color will make you radiate a springy vibe. Try Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighters in Peach Lights.

Lavender

For a bold way to wear a subtle color, try a pastel lavender lipstick. Soft spring color meets edgy attitude? Yes please! To achieve this look, check out NYX Macaron Lipstick in Lavender.

Pink

To give your face a natural, radiant glow, sweep a soft pink onto your cheek bones. You’ll look as fresh as a newly blooming flower! Bonus: a blush with gold flecks, like Benefit’s GALifornia, will add depth and a little shimmer to your face.

Green

Bright eyeshadows can be intimidating, but a shade like Colorpop’s Checkmate is anything but. It’s green without being too green—you’ll look super on trend while capturing the perfect spring color.

Incorporating the fresh colors of spring is easy with these simple ways to wear them. You don’t have to just observe the beauty the world puts forth—you can wear it, too.

When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
