Even if you're scraping sand out of unseen places, the beach is sure to bring you joy. However, unless you live on the shore, the beach isn't always accessible. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine.
