We all know about the mom friend of the group. This is the one who watches out for others, takes care of them, and loves them oh so well. Then recently, the dad friend got introduced, this is the one who breaks out the interesting dance moves and makes odd jokes, but cares deeply about their friends. This person is also likely to be rocking some sweet dad hats.

However, there is one friend we have not yet mentioned.

It's the grandma friend.

Even if you are 20 years old, this could be you. Here are 16 signs that you are the grandma friend of your group.

1. You own more knit clothing than anyone else.

Who doesn't love a good sweater?

2. You struggle to keep up with that teenage slang.

What on Earth does "lit" even mean?

3. If it's 9 p.m., you are asleep.

You got to get that beauty rest! I feel you.

4. Your friends know and expect you to say "dang" or"darn" instead of some other cuss words those dang kids are saying now a' days.

Did you drop something? DARN.

5. Glasses? Ya, you have 4-6 pairs of them.

Every good grandma needs to make sure her vision is clear enough.

6. You own more fuzzy socks than the average human.

Maybe you even have a pair for each day of the week.

7. You have said the phrase, "Oh my word."

Sometimes, when you are shocked, you don't say "shook" or whatever those other college kids say, you say "oh my word!"

8. You wake up earlier than the average college kid.

7 a.m., time to get up and make that coffee.

9. You have slippers and/or a robe that you actually wear on a regular basis.

Comfort is key my friends.

10. Arts and crafts are your jam.

You are always looking for some new hobbies! Maybe knitting will be your next adventure!

11. When you get your friends gifts, they have cheesy sayings on them about love and life.

Everyone could use some encouragement in their life!

12. You are always cold, and therefore, rocking a fuzzy blanket whenever you are home.

Maybe it's even a knit blanket.

13. You are that one friend that laughs at the jokes even if you don't understand them at all.

Grandma might not be the most up to date, but that is aye ok.

14. The baby clothes aisle at Target makes your heart melt.

Have you checked them recently? JUST GO LOOK at how cute all those little fuzzy onesies are.

15. You own tea and a lot of it.

You never know when you are going to need some lemon chamomile or chai.

16. Your dance moves aren't exactly what the kids would say are up to date.

If you are having fun, keep on dancing, grandma.

At the end of the day, being the grandma friend is a whole lot of fun. You get to see the world in a different way (maybe because of one of your 4 pairs of glasses). You get to use all of the fuzzy blankets or socks, and anything knit is hanging in your closet. Have no shame in your game, grandma, you are a unique member of your friend group.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

Yes, the math major is doing a math-related post. What are the odds? I'll have to calculate it later. Many people have probably learned about the Fibonacci sequence in their high school math classes. However, I thought I would just refresh everyone's memories and show how math can be beautiful and apply to physical things everywhere around us with stunning examples.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
