Growing up, I had a very magical connection to Christmas. You see, when you grow up with reindeer friends, Christmas just seems more real. My mother's cousin is the owner of Hardy's Reindeer Ranch in Rantoul, IL. When winter rolled around every year, we would load up the car and head over to pick out a Christmas tree and, if we got lucky, some rock candy too.

Going to get our Christmas tree was a family tradition and the day would always include some quality time with our favorite reindeer. For those of you who had no idea that reindeer were real animals or just haven't ever seen a picture of one, you are in for a treat. Here is a photographic tour of the one and only, Hardy's Reindeer Ranch!
