There have been many rallies, petitions, and articles throughout the years about why women want the right to "choose." Have we ever seriously looked into these invalid arguments? I finally started to and realized that the arguments for pro-choice are almost as ridiculous as the rallys themselves. With that being said I have ranked my top three most ridiculous arguments:

1. "The government can't tell me what to do with my body!"

I love this one! The argument behind it is completely invalid. The government does not care what the hell you do to your body! They are not dictating what you can and cannot do to YOUR body. What they are dictating is what you do to the LIVING ORGANISM inside of it.

So no, the government is not trying to "control your uterus" they are attempting to save a human life form that you don't have the decency to account as a living organism.

2. "No uterus, no opinion."

I don't know if the women sporting this slogan haven't passed a sexual education class, or they're choosing to ignore the facts of life. In case they missed a class, I will explain that it takes one woman and one MAN to create a child.

The fact that women think just because the child is growing inside their bodies that they get to have full rights to end its life is sickening. That baby is just as much the man's as it is yours. This is not just YOUR decision, because the beautiful life form inside of you is 50% someone else's child.

3. "I'm not ready for a child."

Let's talk about how many financially stable couples there are in the world praying every single night for someone to give them a child. If you are not in the right state to raise a child, then take advantage of all of the women's clinics to get your check-ups and bring this child into the world for someone else.

You do not get to end a child's chance at a life simply because it is inconvenient for you. It certainly wasn't the child's choice to be created, so it should not be your choice to end this process.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
