To the Trying Times:
Hey readers. I wanted to write an open letter on conquering those periods where you feel you're stuck in a standstill.
I know that we experience these weird stagnant periods in life. They can sometimes stick around far too long for our liking. In short: they're annoying.
However, it's not impossible to overcome them. I like to try to focus on things I enjoy doing. Read that again: enjoy doing. Why do I say this? If you focus on strenuous things, it can take away a lot of energy and leave you feeling even more down about being at an impasse.
I encourage you to make a list of things you like to do. My list includes, reading and listening to music. There is no need to have a detailed list, but just enough to keep you focused on positive energy.
When you tap into true and natural positive energy, you feel most positive. I am not suggesting that by doing things that bring you happiness will magically make that stagnant period disappear. However, I do believe that keeping your mind on other things makes the difference.
There are many different reasons why there may be some halted action in your life. You could've been waiting to hear good news and it's taking a while or anything that stalls you from feeling you are actually moving somewhere, anywhere.
No matter what reason you have for being at a standstill, you will get through it. As I always say, I cannot guarantee anything in my writing, but I will try my absolute best to make readers feel motivated or encouraged.
Look at it from this perspective: a ball sitting in a room; it cannot go anywhere at all, forward or backward, without propelled motion. Not all energy in motion is positive. Yet, attempting to move the ball gets it somewhere, even a mere few inches in that room.
You have every capability to move in the way you want to. I hope that this letter encourages you to find good energy and propel yourself forward. Good vibes to you!
Encouragingly,
Jessica
