As Mother's day quickly approaches, I often find myself wondering what to get. I think that no matter what I get you, it will never truly show how much I am grateful and am incredibly thankful for all of the love you have given myself and my brothers and the sacrifices that you have made for us over the years. So, I hope that on this Mother's day with this letter, I can truly tell you how much you have meant and continue to mean to me.
Dear Mom,
Thank you for everything. You have been the most amazing mom that I could have ever asked for. Your continued love and support have gotten me through some of the toughest times of my life. As I have grown into an adult, I've watched you continually make sacrifices for my brothers and It has taught me what true strength looks like. I will never take what you have done for granted and will always strive to make you proud.
As my mother, you were the first person to show me what true love looked and felt like. "There's nothing like a mother's love," they say. You were the first person to not only teach me how to read and write but how to see the good in people regardless of who or what their circumstances are and may look like. Mom, you've shown me what it means to be kind to other people and compassionate while remaining encouraging, courageous, and determined.
I hope that as I continue to grow as an adult that I become even half the woman that you are. Thank you for being accepting of me as a person and my growth. You will always mean the world to me and I know that sometimes I can be a real pain, but know that I appreciate you more than anything else in this world. I love you mom, and that will never change.
Love,
Rejani
