To all the girls going through heartbreak-- I promise you that there will be a day where you are sitting in your bed at three in the morning and laugh about how sad you once were.

You will look at old pictures and videos and not feel a single ounce of sadness. You will smile at the fond memories you had made, but you will not yearn to make more like you once had.

I found myself scrolling through my notes on my iPhone the other day, out of pure boredom. I found one, from this past summer that read:

"There is a love of your life and a love for your life. The love of your life will be your weak point for a long time, but it won't work-- while the love for your life is the one that works in a complete way. There's one that is right, and one that you want to be right."

Relationships are a good way for us to grow into who we are as a person. Whether it be romantic or not, every person we form a bond with has an impact on our character in some way or another. When we think we are in love with someone, we can be blinded to the damage we are doing to ourselves in the name of a relationship that was nothing more than a life lesson.

But it's hard to realize that. It takes time. It involves pain and suffering, and many mascara stained pillow cases. We crave the love we see in magazines and movies. We strive to have a loving relationship like the ones written about in great novels, but we find ourselves holding on to those who are not fit for our story.

You will find someone who makes you smile from ear to ear when you think about them. You will find the person who's laugh makes you want to jump up and down on your bed in joy. You will find someone who's touch and scent consume you and make you feel at home and safe. Most importantly, you will feel this way not only in the first two months of your relationship but the longevity of it. You will find someone who is willing to give their all just to see you crack a smile. You will find someone who will stand on rooftops and shout their love for you.

You will find someone who makes you forget about all of the nights you spent crying over boys who did not know your worth. That person will fix all of the bruises and tears in your heart. You will look back, and be thankful that every other person you had been with until that point had led you to this feeling of pure bliss. You may not realize it now, but it is coming soon. You are strong, you are not alone, and there is a light at the end of this tunnel. I promise you.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
