That's Right, I have Netflix And Hulu— And Nothing's Wrong With That

If you had asked me a year ago, I would have said that Netflix was better without blinking. However, recently I have been using Hulu nonstop! Don't get me wrong I still love Netflix but I have recently learned that Hulu definitely has its advantages.

As a college student, my television is basically my laptop. I am always running around from building to building. Being able to stream a show or two when I have downtime but don't have time to go home between all the things that I have scheduled for the day is extremely convenient. All I need is my headphones and my laptop then I am ready to go.

And even when I am at my place at school, I don't have cable. This means that watching television live as new episodes airs isn't really an option for me. Unless the show I want to watch airs on ABC, FOX, or the CW, I usually am out of luck or have to find a more creative way to watch the show.

In contrast to Netflix, Hulu is great for watching your current favorite shows that have just aired. Missed an episode of "Grey's Anatomy," no problem because Hulu has you covered! Not only does it have the latest episodes of Grey's Anatomy, Hulu also has all of the 13 other seasons for you to watch. With Netflix you would have to wait until all of season 14 aired before you could watch all the latest episodes.

Also, Hulu has full seasons of your favorite shows that don't air anymore. They have childhood favorites like "Drake and Josh" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." They even have everyone's favorite reality shows, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and "Jersey Shore."

Nothing can compare to Netflix Original Series like "Orange is the New Black," "Stranger Things," and "Santa Clarita Diet." Netflix even has some entertaining original movies like "The Kissing Booth" and "Set It Up." But let's not forget about Hulu Original Series as well. Hulu does have some good original series of their own like the "The Runaways" and "The Handmaids Tale."

I honestly need both of the online streaming sources in my life. If you haven't given Hulu a try, you don't know what you are missing! If you are like girl what are you talking about I have been using Hulu for forever, I am sorry for being late to the party! Netflix and Hulu serve two different purposes for me and I love them both.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

Yes, the math major is doing a math-related post. What are the odds? I'll have to calculate it later. Many people have probably learned about the Fibonacci sequence in their high school math classes. However, I thought I would just refresh everyone's memories and show how math can be beautiful and apply to physical things everywhere around us with stunning examples.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
