Dear Mom,
You are not only my mother but you are also my best friend. I have been your daughter for 20 years now and I couldn't imagine my life without you. I love how I can call you just to hear your voice. I love that when I need you, you are right there by my side. You are so supportive of me and all that I do, thank you. I know you have a lot on your plate and honestly, I don't know how you do it all. If I become a tenth of the woman that you are, I will be so lucky. I love you.
We have so many good memories together and we have more to come. You were such a great mom while growing up, you made sure my brother and I had everything that we needed for comfort. You always made sure that you had time to take us to appointments, parent-teacher meetings, our school events, helped us with homework and had food on the table for us every night, on top of working your stressful job. You always went above and beyond for us. Decorating our bedrooms just the way we wanted, making our birthday parties beyond what we expected, always housing our friends and providing for all of us. Thank you.
We have a special relationship/bond and I am so grateful. You are the most caring, heart-warming, honest, supportive, hard-working, loving, beautiful inside and out mother. You are my backbone, you help me with everything whether its school or drama in my relationships. At college, it is difficult being away from you but you are always one call away and I couldn't ask for anything else. I know that it is difficult for you to see me upset but just know, that I will always be there for you as well.
There are a number of times that you have healed me. You have dried my crying eyes or listened to my overly ridiculous rants. I can talk to you about anything and be completely open with you. You distract my busy mind on days when I feel the world crushing me. I can be completely comfortable with being myself because you have always told me, "Never care what others think of you. As long as your happy with yourself, that's all that matters".
We always say, "I love you", but I don't think you know the extent of how much you mean to me. You are the greatest mom/best friend that I could have ever asked for. I love you so much and please don't ever think differently. I am so lucky to call you my mother. Thank you so much. I LOVE YOU.
