1. You start doing your makeup, and you're super psyched.

This is it. This is the day you're going to do your makeup and it's going to be perfect, and you're going to look like a goddess. You start playing your music and you get all your makeup out, and you feel the fierceness inside begin to grow.

2. But then, you start to mess up.

Within approximately 4 seconds, you've managed to do something wrong. Maybe it's mascara all over your eyelid or maybe you got concealer on your favorite shirt. Whatever it is, you want to give up and run away.

3. But like a true trooper, you continue.

You are a goddess and you are too determined to up. You just take a second to have a tiny meltdown, then you're good to go.

4. But then it's time to do your eyeliner.

Everyone knows the worst part of doing your makeup is achieving that thin line and perfect wing. And of course, you mess it up, because that's how your day is going.

5. When you try to fix anything, it just gets so much worse.

When you wipe off the bit of eye shadow that fell onto your cheek, you end up smearing it across your entire face. When you try to make your eyeliner thicker to hide your mistakes, you end up with the worst raccoon eyes know to man.

6. But when you're done, it's so worth it.

Because honestly, what's more fulfilling than doing a great face of makeup? Probably a lot of things, but at the moment you finish, it feels like the biggest achievement of your entire life.

7. And even though it's not perfect...

Your eyebrows end up a little wonky and your eyeliner wings are not exactly even. You still look fierce as hell, so who cares? Not you.

8. Then you go out into the world like...

You are a beautiful tropical fish and you know it. You go to dinner or class or out with your friends and you feel like total hot stuff. After the whole ordeal of doing your makeup, you know that you look good and you're happy.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
