Christmas is just around the corner (next Sunday) and if you're anything like me, you've probably procrastinated buying your Christmas gifts. I totally understand why though, finals can bring so much stress that not even online shopping can help you. Don't fear though because I, the Queen of procrastinating buying gifts, have compiled a quick list or gifts you can buy last minute.
For Dad:
Dads are hard to shop for. They have weird hobbies and interests and they might even already have everything. However these things are always safe bets:
1. Ties
A father can never have enough ties; I know that my dad is always complaining about not having enough matching ties. Plus, some of his are probably ugly anyway so you can help update his wardrobe!
2. A Grill Cover
This one seems way out of left field, but if you live in the midwest, or other places where it gets dreadfully cold, a grill cover is a perfect gift.
3. A Golf Club Towel
This is a great gift if your dad is a golfer. I guess golf clubs get dirty a lot so a towel would help him clean it off.
4. Socks
I know it's a lame gift, but socks are necessary. Plus you could always buy him some cool socks with like galaxy cats or something.
5. Mugs
You can never go wrong with a mug.
For Mom:
1. Candles
A good smelling house= a happy mom
2. Cookbook
If you're tired of the same old meals, this is a gift that comes with benefits for you!
3. A Scarf
Scarf are an easy and cute present for any fashionista, moms included.
4. Jewelry
It doesn't have to be anything fancy, a cute earring set from Target would do the trick
5. Trinkets for the house
Moms go crazy for cute end table trinkets.
For your Sister:
1. A Scarf
See above; scarves rule the world.
2. Earrings
Claire's has great cheap, but nice, earrings.
3. Gift Card to Her Favorite Makeup or Clothing Store.
Maybe you don't know what kind of things she'd like so let her pick it out herself.
4. Makeup
If she's expressed a love of a certain product you can hit up Walgreens or Target. You can easily find dupes for high end products at drugstores.
5. ITunes Gift Card
Help her buy that new Album she's been dying to have.
For your Brother:
1. A GIft Card to his Favorite Store
You may not know what he likes, so help him help himself.
2. A Hat
A winter hat, a sports team hat, a snapback... the possibilities are endless.
3. A Shirt For His Favorite Sports Team
Or if he isn't a sports fan, a shirt referencing his favorite movie or video game.
4. An Amazon Gift Card
This goes hand in hand with #1.
5. Headphones and/ or iTunes Gift Card
If he's anything like my brother his headphones are either lost or broken. The ITunes card will help him get the music he wants.
Happy Holidays and good luck shopping!
