It's summer. School is out. The sun is up. It's time to get those cute af Instagram photos poppin' on your feed and luckily, I have the best picture ideas no matter what your summer plans are!

1. Standing in the water, because you're cute like that

Whether you're living your best life and having a beach vaca or hanging out at your community pool, this picture is always a show stopper.

2. Outfit of the day mirror picture

We all have our summer looks. Show off your crop tops, booty shorts or summer dresses with a classic mirror picture.

3. Beach towel backdrop

Looking for a beachy picture when you're nowhere need the water? This picture screams "summmmmer" without actually traveling past your backyard. You could even hang a beach towel against a blank wall if you don't even like going outside.

4. Road trip chic

If you have a week long road trip or a cute day trip planned, snap that car interior picture to show off your adventure.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
