It's night one. The best eight nights of the year have finally begun. You are SO EXCITED.

Your sibling gets a really bad gift that they literally didn’t want ever in their entire lifetime, and all you can do is laugh as they act grateful.



Your parents think it might be funny and/or cool to give you socks one night. You are unimpressed.

You and your sister get amazing matching gifts. You are feeling great. All is right in the world.


Quite a lot of time is spent lighting the candles and singing songs, but all you can think about is the gifts.

The tables have turned. Your sibling's gift is much better than yours and probably cost a lot more. You feel some favoritism happening here.

Night eight. So much pressure put into one gift. You open it, and it is everything you have ever wanted and so much more. You couldn’t be more content with life.


You give many kisses and a huge thank you to your parents (and many fans) for a crazy and fabulous eight nights.
