31 Halloween Movies For The Perfect SPOOPY October

I can't deny my obsession with fall. From all things pumpkin spice to the sound of golden leaves crunching beneath my feet, I can't get enough. But more than trips to the orchard or dressing up for Halloween, I love love LOVE scary movies.

Each year I look forward to Freeform's 13 (now 31) Nights of Halloween. Although they always play many of my favorite Holloween movies, a few are always missed. Not all of these movies are scary, but I will argue they're some of the best movies for any Halloween lover.

So, in no particular order, here are 31 movies to get you feeling ~spoopy~. Enjoy!

When I was a child, I used to look forward to Memorial Day Weekend from the time I returned to school after Christmas vacation. It was the yearly benchmark announcing the end of the school year and the beginning of summer vacation. It meant I was one step closer to regattas, swim meets and tennis matches.

I remember how exciting summer was when I was a kid. I would just be eagerly waiting for school to end so that I could fly to some exotic location with my family for the summer. Or hang out with my friends every day. Or just lay around in bed or read, paint, draw, basically do whatever.
