You are a few credit hours behind from graduating on time or maybe you're trying get the heck out of dodge early. Either way, your answer is taking summer courses. It sounds like a great idea at the time, being a responsible student and all. Then the syllabus hits you, all of a sudden you're two weeks in and there is no going back. You have dug yourself a deep grave in which there is no return. Time to embrace the pain.

When the first question on the quiz is completely irrelevant to the chapter material

Sporadically searching in your book for the answer on a timed test

Trying to stay awake during an online lecture

Trying to find the motivation to do your work instead of going to the pool

Glaring at the empty gradebook, wondering what the prof is doing with his time

When others ask you if it's all worth it

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
