College students are not the wealthiest of people, to say the least. But when you find yourself with time on your hands, you don't have to spend money to have fun! There are a number of activities that can be done for absolutely no money at all.

1. Catch up on free episodes of your favorite show online

A lot of networks post the most recent episodes of a show for free, so it's the perfect way to catch up on your favorites after a long day. You can just sit back, relax and get immersed in a world of imagination for a while.

2. Go running

Running is a good way to let off steam and release any stress and tension you may have accumulated recently. You could utilize the treadmill at your university gym, access to which you have technically already payed for, or you could run along the various sidewalks on your campus.

3. Check out a book from your university Library

A good book can help you escape reality, help you learn things you never knew, or help you travel without having to pay for a plane ticket. And your university library is the perfect place to go check out some wonderful books you can read next.

4. Join a university club or organization

A university club can get you out of the dorm, help you make new friends and try new things. Not only that, it has the benefit of looking good on your resume. Sometimes, you even get t-shirts!

5. Spend time with friends

It's always wonderful to have people in your life who you truly enjoy and who can tell all your problems to and celebrate achievements with. Spending time with these friends doesn't cost so much as a penny, but it can be so very enriching.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
