After fall semester was over I got to spend a WHOLE month at home doing absolutely nothing. I slept in a lot and hung out with friends and family. With a whole month of just straight chilling I was feeling ready for the spring semester to begin and go to my new classes. However, the moment I got back on campus I could feel all my energy leave my body.
I have only been to my classes for one week which doesn't sound like a lot but each and everyday felt like a week has past. In my opinion every class felt like I have been to them a million times and I couldn't wait for spring break already. I have no idea why I feel so tired and drained from school already when we haven't even been back for very long.
Everyday when I hung out with friends I have noticed that they all felt the same. I'm not quite sure what is happening because it can be multiple things. The cold weather, fall semester catching up with us, or the knowledge of the amount of work needed to be done in this short semester. Whatever it is I want it to stop! During my winter break I unfortunately got sick and still is getting over it. Which really sucks because I just want to feel like myself and become lively again.
My semester classes seem like they are going to be fun and exciting. My freshman year of college has gone by really fast and it is crazy how much I have done. I made tons of friends, I joined organizations on campus, and gotten out of my comfort zone slowly. The next thing I know it will be summer time. I can't grasp the idea of time and how much we have but how quickly it goes by.
