5 Reasons Fall Is The Absolute Best Season Ever - Don't @ Me

Don't even try to fight me on this one.

5 Reasons Fall Is The Absolute Best Season Ever - Don't @ Me

There are so many beautiful reasons to love fall, but none more than being able to step outside without completely dripping in sweat. Let's get one thing straight, I love summer just as much as the next girl, but I am so over it. It's hot, sticky, outfits that you actually feel comfortable and confident in are so hard to find, and bad tan lines are SO real. I am just ready for it to be over. Here are some of the reasons why I think fall is the best season ever, in no particular order.

Sweaters

There are very few better feelings than grabbing that one giant sweater/sweatshirt from the back of your closet and putting it on for the first time since last winter. You also have the cute cropped sweaters that you can wear out and actually feel cute in. Then you have the mid-length sweaters that you can wear literally anywhere. They're so versatile; WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE!?

Tailgates

Football tailgates are the highlight of fall every. single. year. But, they're simply not fun when it's 90-100 degrees outside, no matter how much you try to convince yourself you're having a good time. It's a different story when it's a nice 65-70 degrees outside, there's a light breeze, and all you need is a pair of jeans and a light jacket to cheer on your team!

Fall scented candles

Once again, there are so many options and they all smell lovely! Pumpkin, chai, autumn leaves, you name it, I probably love it and have it in my house.

Fall flavored beverages

Honestly, you're lying if you say you don't like the Starbucks fall beverages. The new pumpkin cold brew literally slaps. Starbucks aside, so many fall-inspired flavors come out in other drinks as well! Craft beers and other types of drinks have some amazing fall flavors as well, I recommend trying them (to anyone 21 or older, of course).

HALLOWEEN!

I have always loved this holiday because it is a night where people get to dress up like whoever/whatever they want, and no one is allowed to judge. It's so weird and fun and really gives people a chance to express themselves.

Although this all may sound pretty basic, that's not the point I'm trying to make. The main reason I love fall is that a weight to look hot in essentially no clothing is lifted off every girl's shoulders, and it is so freeing. The scents, scenes, and drinks that come along with that are just the cherry on top of the best. Season. Ever!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
