Winter is one of the most beautiful times of the year. It can be difficult decorating your house, apartment, or dorm especially if you are on a budget. I have gathered a list of a few decor ideas that you can make yourself so you won't have to break your bank!

1. Frosty Pinecones!

Get some pinecones from outside, if you live up north, or go to an art store, if you live down south. Gather some white paint, glue, white and silver glitter, and a paintbrush. Start by mixing together the paint and glue in a bowl then roll a pinecone in it. Then pour some glitter into another bowl and roll the pinecone around in there and let sit to dry. After you decorate a bunch of pinecones and they dry, put them in a bowl and they will be a great centerpiece for your table or decoration on your coffee table.

2. Mason Jar snow globes.

Making these snow globes would look beautiful sitting on your nightstand or sitting around your TV stand. They would also be a great gift to give your friends or any family members and they could use it as decorations.

3. Winter fairy lights.

Raising Whasians

This is so simple and easily enhances any room. Get normal twinkly lights, little clothespins, and green fabric. Simply cut the fabric in the shape of trees, glue them onto clothes pins and clip those on the fairy lights. That's it! So simple and so cute.

The Norse Creation Myth

The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
