Dear Santa,
Yes, this letter is going to be about what's trending and from that list, what I would like, but there's going to be more to it than that. And I don't know if you know what a "GIF" is because you're a couple hundred years old, but you'll catch on.
I just want to start by saying "hello" to you and yours, and I hope that all is well. I want to say that I'm writing this because today, when I was watching "The Year Without a Santa Claus" on television, I got scared! I don't want anyone, but especially you, to ever feel unappreciated or that people don't believe in you. Maybe I'm the only one that thinks this, but anyone who lasts for 200 years cannot possibly be "just a myth.
As for your reindeer, I know them all by name! Not everyone can say that, you know, but I hope they're all healthy and ready for the holiday. Are you aware of all of the movies there are about you and the reindeer? I hope you are. I'd be interested in knowing the validity of the movie adaptations.
As for the presents, (ah yes, the presents...)
I'm really only interested in clothes, Santa. Let's be real, the clothes make the woman. Now yes, I do have lots of clothes already, but what's the harm in getting more? Aaaaaand they say you see all of us in our sleep, etc. so I'm guessing you know exactly what I would like.
Now that you think I'm only interested in material things, it's time I let you know what I'm even more interested in!
Santa, I've found great friends, I have a loving family, I'm doing well in school, and I'm finally figuring out what I want to do with my life. But, what can make or break the holiday season is the attitude of those around us. This year, I'm really hoping that everyone catches a serious case of Christmas spirit. The happiness and warm vibes required for this may be hard to come by, but this is what classifies a perfect holiday rather than any other gift. Seriously.
So, Santa, I hope this letter finds you well and that it's not "just another one" you'll receive this holiday season. See you in a couple weeks!
Sincerely,
Me
