5 Things I Never Thought I Would Ask For On My Christmas Wish List

As I grow older I find myself each year asking for things that nine-year-old me would probably be disappointed in me for asking...

1. Socks

Honestly fuzzy socks are a God sent and i don't know why i hadn't figured this out sooner!

2. Tiers

Because dropping $600 on snow tiers does not sound appealing to me...

3. Clothes!!

Because a girl can never have enough clothes, i actually truly regret ever getting mad or upset about getting clothes for Christmas

4. Gas Cards

Before these were useless...But now... every college students dream!

5. Organization and Office Tools

This is so satisfying.....

If I was nine I'd think 21 years old me was insane for wanting this stuff when I could have had toys, but I guess that's what you get when you grow up...

18. Spend a snow day cuddled up under the blankets

19. Drink all the eggnog you can.

20. Go to a Christmas concert.

21. Throw a present wrapping party.

22. Treat yourself to your favorite holiday drink.

23. Go skiing or snowboarding.

24. Create a DIY Christmas gift.

25. Enjoy the company of your loved ones.

I've realized that being nice to myself is actually really important.

2. Realize that doing your best does not mean sacrificing your health

3. Enjoy your own company

4. Realize that not everyone deserves a front-row seat to your life (and you don't need a front-row seat to theirs)
